An epic day on the Channel, and here is what the Condor expressly saw:
3 Gray Whales
2 Humpback Whales
800 Long beak Common Dolphins
We had frisky behaviors all over as Spring has apparently sprung. The two Humpbacks breached and tail-lobbed for a long time, putting on quite a show for the passengers. The Gray Whales were a matin pod, and not only was there a lot of rolling around on the surface, but "Pink Floyd" made an appearance. Proving once again that you never know what Mother Nature has in store for you in the way of fabulous sightings when you come on board. Make your reservations (9am, 12 noon, or 3pm) now and see the mighty Gray Whales as they migrate back home to Alaska, plus whatever else is happening out there in our wonderful Channel.
